Relationship Psychology
What is relationship psychology and why should you care about it? Relationship psychology has to do with the yin and yang of relationships and the behaviors existing within. If you are aware of this psychology, then you can avoid huge problems, unneeded conflicts, and even potential break up's or divorce.
First understand that everyone has an ego and we are more or less programmed to not have our ego's hurt or damaged. Hurt or damaged ego's can easily emanate from your mate not paying enough attention or seemingly being disrespectful either knowingly or unknowingly to them. We want to make those problems our problems. Our ego's step in and say "hey, that's a stab at me!"
If we can set our own ego's aside and not allow others actions to affect us so greatly, then concentration bounces back towards dealing with the person's behavior, rather than being hurt and suffering needlessly ourselves.
This is one aspect of relationship psychology that is often overlooked when trying to figure out why problems snowball into larger problems, which eventually end in major hurt and break up.
