1. Phone Calls.
Perhaps the most obvious are phone calls. If you are receiving a lot of phone calls from your ex after your breakup, this could definitely be a sign. Even if the phone calls are not begging for you getting back together, just the fact that they are calling and talking, shows that they miss you and may be hinting towards getting back together.
2. Text Messages.
Text messages are stronger signs ex wants you back. Why? Because they are easy, quick, and subtle. You don't have to invest a lot of action in deciding whether or not to call, instead you just fire off a quick text in which the underlying message is "I'm thinking about you."
3. Your ex's friends.
Are your ex's friends suddenly coming out of the woodwork, showing up at the bar or cafe you frequent? Coming up to you and being cordial? Even going so far as to say, "You know, you should give ---- a call sometime?" Sometimes ex's will enlist their friends to drop hints that they are thinking of you, and desire getting back together.
Other signs ex wants you back :
-Emails. Not so much actual conversation emails, but emails which are those forwarded feel good messages you often get from friends. These are quick and easy ways to say I'm thinking of you.
-Reasons to meet up. If they are continually coming up with reasons why you should meet up, this can be a definite sign. Often these reasons will be simple things, like returning cd's, or clothes. But they will happen over and over. Like, why didn't your ex just return everything all at once? They space things out so they have a reason to keep seeing you.
